Romit Jani serves as the Senior Director and Head of Formulation Product Development at Solaris Pharma, a company specializing in the development of complex dosage forms. In his role, he oversees Formulation R&D activities, encompassing product development, scale-up, and commercialization, and collaborates with various CMOs to drive these processes forward. Prior to Solaris, he worked as a Research Scientist at Amneal Pharmaceuticals and was responsible for formulating and scaling up of various complex dosage forms including topicals, extended-release powders and ophthalmic products. He received his Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken NJ and has about 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry taking products from concept to commercialization.
