ABSTRACT

Pharma business is facing a multitude of forces that will test the pharmaceutical industry’s resilience in the years ahead. These challenges range from those that have been conventional to the Pharma environment, to the recent vulnerabilities that have surfaced during the Covid-19 pandemic and the recovery period. Succeeding in pharma under these new and challenging conditions will require succeeding in operations and leveraging quality to win.

The discussion will examine key themes shaping pharma’s outlook, as well as the strategies companies will deploy to stay in front of these rapidly changing dynamics. The talk will also uncover the challenges being faced, and the steps industry can take to develop a more strategic, long-term, and integrated approach to operations and quality.

BIO

Subba Reddy Inta has more than 25 years of experience in all pharmaceutical operations including quality assurance, quality control, validations, and tech transfers. He is currently responsible for leading a quality organization in Dr. Reddys Laboratories, North America. He oversees the quality operations in U.S. and Canada markets including a couple of manufacturing sites located in the U.S. Subba provides strategic oversight for quality and compliance including internal and external manufacturing locations. He is also management representative in all matters related to key quality and compliance and the liaison with FDA for post market surveillance and compliance. His experience includes the design of quality systems for the oversight of GxP activities and managing numerous Health Authority inspections including multiple product approvals and launches. Prior to Dr. Reddy’s, Subba worked at various organizations including Pfizer, Schering Plough, and Wyeth. He holds a master’s degree in microbiology from Nagarjuna University.
