Navdeep Pahuja, a seasoned corporate and business development leader in the pharmaceutical industry, with over 15 years of experience across North America, Europe, and emerging markets.
Navdeep currently serves as Senior Director of Business Development and M&A at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he leads strategic transactions across the U.S. and Canada. His expertise spans the entire deal lifecycle—from identifying and evaluating potential partners and assets, to structuring and negotiating complex licensing and acquisition deals, conducting cross-functional due diligence, and guiding regulatory submissions and product launches.
Over the course of his career, Navdeep has led and contributed to more than 40 strategic transactions valued at over $500 million. These include acquisitions, in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, and divestment transactions spanning biosimilars, complex generics, injectable portfolio’s and manufacturing facilities—helping organizations expand their portfolios, enter new markets, and unlock long-term value.
Navdeep’s academic background includes a Master’s in Pharmacy and an MBA from Ivey Business School, Western University, giving him a unique blend of scientific depth and commercial insight. His leadership roles at Apotex, ADVANZ PHARMA, and Sun Pharmaceuticals have further shaped his global perspective and sharpened his ability to navigate complex regulatory and market environments.
